Lorikeets looking to evict pigeons

The interior of this drain has long been home to a pair of nesting pigeons. But today . .

The lorikeets withdraw, watched anxiously by one of the pigeons

Not so keen now, but still thinking about it . .

Cloud feathers with bats

Hundreds of them rise up from the harbourside trees in the Botanic Gardens every evening at sunset, heading east to forage.
