As can be seen by some of my previous posts, I like the noisy eccentric sulphur crested ones very much. As individuals they have the most personality and sense of humour of all the local birds. But they aren't the smartest souls in the neighbourhood. Sometimes they are an aggressive and noisy mob. They will chew on anything. They get where no other bird gets, and they chew whatever they find. The presence of so many window sill spikes in the neighbourhood attests to the problem but not all surfaces can be covered this way.
So, would a better solution be to trap and relocate them? Seems wrong to poison them.
Loveable, true, but annoying, also true!
