DeepDream Generator 2

Another handful. If you set the 'creativity' setting too high, all sorts of cornball morphing takes place. And it starts to look regulation. Embarrassing to say the least. AI cheese: no tnx. Keeping and propagating only good generations decreases the likelihood of this breaking out and dominating the image. At what point is the work one's own, as far as creative transformations go, and when is the non sentient entity capable of more aesthetic excitement than I am?

Styled by a rack of plums, I think.

In the 2nd image the faces (already 2 or 3 times transformed, upscaled) are styled by a composite of upscaled sunsets, a red and an orange. The 3rd image is styled by a composite of transformed close ups of of small purple and yellow flowers.

Again, all my IP here except for the DeepDream Generator merges of the photos.

DeepDream Generator

I am right into the DeepDream (deepdreamgenerator.com) process. Here are two plus one of the original works, made with repeated selective iterations using the product of each again enhanced.

It bears considering that in the 14 years since my last post here, the front and back end technology has changed a few times. Now the overall site is snappy and modern to use. It was always very usable, actually, so I am looking forward to getting into the thick of it again.

A blog spot still going, and still looking good, after studious and eventual forgetful absence, is a blog worth resuming. I had thought blogspot was being archived or some such a long time ago. So glad to see it isn't.

My only decision to make now is whether to create a new blog for the new times.
