Fireworks in the wind

Later

By 5pm the wind is blowing strongly from the south.

The southerly change didn't bring much rain. It pared down the temperature and reduced the humidity. It churned up dust, leaves and rubbish. But swarms of tiny biting insects had a much harder time hanging around, so it wasn't all bad.

One hour later

. . one degree higher (at least)

Yet windy. A strong north wind is gusting now, but we are promised a southerly change this evening.

Maybe the mid 30s isn't any great stretch, but the humidity is mind warping!

Starting to cook

Just after 9am. Offically, Sydney is 31.5C at 9am. Here on the harbour and close to the coast it is one degree cooler.

This one has found a small breeze!

Bliss!
